Contemporary writing workshop

The foundation is a partner of the contemporary writing workshop at the École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre (ENSAV) in Brussels. This is a new programme of study and coaching, for writers, authors and artists wishing to take their writing to a more professional level, to confront it with other writers and recognised professionals from the world of publishing, literature and ideas, and to inform and enrich it with new knowledge and skills.

The experience of La Cambre (ENSAV) in training young artists and designers has proven that the time spent by student artists at the school ‘accelerates’ the concrete realisation of their personal project, by giving them the tools, knowledge, experience, and network that are indispensable to any professional practice. The aim of this new workshop is therefore to facilitate the access of authors to publication opportunities for their written work.

INAUGURAL LESSONS
LES FORMES DU TEXTES (TEXTUAL FORMS) (at the initiative of Gilles Collard)
As an introduction to the opening, in October 2016, of the contemporary writing programme, La Cambre organised a cycle of four inaugural lessons in the form of a conversation around the notion of text in contemporary creation.
